Baume et Mercier (Baume and Mercier) was founded in 1830. The watches were made solely by the Baume family until 1918 when Baume signed a deal with the jeweler Mercier which grew the company into the excellence of watchmaking we know today. Baume & Mercier makes various collections for both men and ladies which include the Diamant, Capeland, Hampton (Hampton Classic, Hampton Melleis, Hampton Sqare, Hampton City, Hampton Spirit), Classima, Riviera, Ilea.
